Developmental Therapy

Northstar Pediatrics provides developmental therapy and evaluations for children in the Chicagoland area, and it’s bordering cities. We develop and implement a specialized treatment plan for children via play based therapy, educate parents on developmental needs/milestones, and set obtainable goals for your child to meet.

Our Mission

Northstar Pediatrics serves children ages zero to three with cognitive, social emotional, or adaptive delays. We strive to aid children and their families through play, parent education, and teamwork. We will asses your child’s developmental level, and work with them one on one to establish a working and friendly relationship.

We believe that all children are capable of success in therapy as long as they are given the right support and tools. We use a variety of therapy tactics, encourage family engagement, and make sure to communicate with other team members. Our mission is to help children with developmental delays succeed in all aspects of life. One child at a time, one day at a time, one goal at a time.

Giving Back

At Northstar Pediatrics, we take pride in giving back to make a lasting impact. Because of this, we have partnered with March of Dimes. March Of Dimes is a non profit organization that researches health concerns for moms and babies. One of those areas is premature birth.  Not only do we conduct therapy for many children born prematurely, but our founder Alexis and her husband suffered the tragic loss of their first son Pierson, due to being born 3 months premature. Because of this, we at Northstar Pediatrics Inc. donate a portion of our proceeds each year to March of Dimes to assist them in their research. By giving back, we hope to save future families from heartache and loss.

Services

We provide both ongoing Developmental Therapy, Initial, and Annual evaluations for your child.  We come to your house or daycare to provide these services, and will work with your child one on one for their specific needs.
