Northstar Pediatrics Inc. is happy to announce we are an official internship site for the Erikson Institute in Chicago Illinois.

Through our internship program, students who are obtaining a degree in Child Development with a Specialization in Infancy work one on one with our licensed Developmental Therapists to lean how to perform therapy strategies with children and their families. The student shadows each therapist and eventually conducts sessions solo once they and the families have been working together for a while.

Students in the internship program lean how to complete session notes, perform evaluations, write reports, implement strategies with children and  families to obtain goals, participate in IFSP meetings, co-treat with other domains, and gain knowledge of how to work with children with a range of developmental disabilities.
