About Us

Northstar Pediatrics was founded by Alexis Riffle in 2013. We serve children and their families in the greater Chicagoland area, providing ongoing therapy as well as initial and annual evaluations. 

We work with children that have learning disabilities, behaviors challenges, developmental disabilities, those on the Autism Spectrum, and children with other diagnosis impacting cognitive development. Our therapists have experience with children who have a wide range of needs such as those with Down Syndrome, social anxiety, and children requiring assistive technology.

All therapy and evaluations are conducted in a natural setting such as the home or daycare, which provides a safe environment for the child to promote optimal growth. Our therapists will create and implement a treatment plan specifically for your child and their needs. We value the family’s input and strive to educate parents/caregivers on strategies to incorporate throughout the child’s daily routine.

In the near future, Northstar Pediatrics plans to expand and include Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy options for children and their families.
